This policy governs tracing and location enquiries carried out by Tracenet Legal Services, a trading name of Tracenet Group Limited (company number 10062268). It supplements our Data Protection Compliance framework and our Privacy Notice.
Tracing is the most privacy-sensitive work we undertake, because the individual being traced has not asked to be found. This policy sets out the standards we apply to keep that work lawful, proportionate and accurate.
This policy applies to debtor tracing, tenant and absconder tracing, employment tracing, heir and beneficiary tracing, residency verification, occupier identification, trace and contact work, and any enquiry whose purpose is to establish where an individual can be found or contacted.
